Market and Business Development Support

Business Development Support:  Work with management teams to grow client companies existing markets and penetrate new markets.  Develop a matrix of applicable markets addressed with technology and capabilities, prioritize, plan, and develop execution strategies.  Particular areas of expertise are wireless and satellite telecommunications, security and public safety, and global logistics/supply chain.  Focus areas including supporting growth in US Government (Federal, DoD, and State and local), commercial domestics markets, and the development of international or regional markets. 


Competitive Market Assessments: Perform assessment of in-house products against competing products.  Compare specifications, features, cost, and market channels. Generate a comprehensive plan to address deficiencies and more competitively position or leap-frog competitors.

Hidden Technology Assessment:  Review corporate technology portfolio and identify unlocked in-house technology to see what alternative and new markets may be addressed.  Generate a plan to develop this technology and access the new markets. Work with management to develop product plans, organization structures, sales channels, and potential licensing or divestiture strategies.

 International Channel Development:  Assess existing overseas markets which are not being adequately addressed.  Review current sales channels and develop new strategic partners, distributors, and sales agents in these target regions.  Support the development of distribution and sales agreements, trade show plans, compensation structure, OEM and private labeling agreements, inventory levels, and post-sales support.  Develop homologation plans and local product support structures where applicable.

Government Market Access:  Provide unique access to the US Government,  DoD, and Intelligence markets.  Assess current penetration, review product applicability, and develop a plan to address these markets.  Position and promote products to selected targets, establish or expand GSA schedule offerings, and review technical modifications which may be required the meet special requirements.
